This exclusive course is dedicated to portraying the iconography of one of the most popular forms of Sri Vishnu, known as Srinivasa or Balaji.

Students will learn techniques used for proportional drawing and the attributes of this divine form, based on the traditions of the Shilpa Shastras of India.

During the 6 online sessions, students will be guided step-by-step through the process of constructing the form:

  • Drawing the proportional grid and outlining the form based on talamana measurement system

  • Understanding and drawing the specific attributes like; ayudhas (weapons) and mudras (hand gestures) for the various hands, alankara or ornaments of the body and symbols.

By the end of the course you will have completed a full drawing of Srinivasa’s form from scratch.
